Elk Rock Island is a 13.6 acre natural area located in the Willamette River. Though an island for much of the year, it is accessible by foot during the dry summer months, when the river's water level drops. Limited street parking is available near Spring Park, where visitors may then stroll down a tree lined path to reach the river's edge.
