Join Us to Support Our Milwaukie Parks
In 2023, the Milwaukie Parks Foundation kicked off the Upgrading Adventures campaign to raise funds to help replace aging playgrounds and other equipment in Milwaukie parks. The City of Milwaukie estimated there is over $1mil in replacement needs in Milwaukie parks. Plus, in some parks, like Furnberg, the neighborhood is looking to enhance the park by adding a picnic shelter. The Upgrading Adventures fund will be a way to help with such improvements. Over $6,000 was raised during last year's end-of-year fundraising drive, but we are hoping you will help us step that up substantially this year! Become a "Playground Champion" with a contribution of $250 or more, or a "Playground Supporter" with a contribution between $100 and $249. Contributions of any amount are welcome -- every gift helps!
As a reminder, due to the County Commissioners' halt of progress on Milwaukie Bay Park, we put our prior Bring Play to Milwaukie Bay campaign on hold and are holding the over $60,000 raised for the nature play area in a high-yield savings account for the day that Milwaukie Bay Park moves forward.

After years of hard work and dedication of the Ardenwald/Johnson Creek Neighborhood Association and Milwaukie Parks Foundation presented a check to the City of Milwaukie for $22,603 for the play area in the Balfour Street Park.

If you’re a fan of Milwaukie’s parks, we’d like to hear from you! Our survey is NOT meant to duplicate the big district-wide survey conducted over the summer in connection with the NCPRD System Plan. Rather, we seek to drill a little deeper specifically into Milwaukie parks and how Milwaukie residents use them.
Thank You
